[Day 1] Havana, Cuba

[12.2017] Our last day in Cuba, we explored Havana with Pedro in his 1953- Ford Victoria! Yes, this is super touristy, but it is also what makes Cuba unique. Due to the import restricts since the 50’s, Cubans had to make do with what they have. So they maintained and fixed up what they have, which is now considered antique cars. Part of the reason that I wanted to visit Cuba was to be transported back in time. Cuba is still a developing country with limited internet access and growing infrastructure. Politically, they’re a confused Communist half-turned into Socialist, which may be a point of frustration for its citizens. However, what I loved, is that the Cuban people persevere and has a great attitude about life!
